Ivy always finds
a way to cling to the wall
that best gives it strength.

La hiedra siempre
busca la mejor pared
que le da vida.

Tulips, like soldiers,
only bend to misfortune
with a savage wind.

Los tulipanes,
tal como los soldados,
se tuercen en mal viento.

Playfully the sun
flirts with the day while the moon
secretly woos the night.

El sol juguetón
coquetea con el día, mientras la luna
secretamente seduce a la noche.

The rose shows its face
to the sun, but not before
it trusts the warm rays.

La rosa expone su cara
al sol pero no antes de

When green abandons
the strong stem of a flower,
it's condemned to death.
